They met on the kickball field in West Hollywood on a mild spring evening...
She was there to socialize…he was there in an attempt to prove his athletic abilities to his peers. They first locked eyes while he was arguing with a referee.
Later, they were formally introduced and she learned he wasn't that bad after all.
After a few casual conversations on and off the kickball field, they finally scheduled their first date on a December evening. Their first date ended up being a random set of events that included dinner, a back alley speakeasy, a Hollywood hookah lounge, and a stop at a dueling piano bar.
Since their first date, they discovered they share a love for great food and wine, watching and attending sporting events, and traveling the world. They found they share a love for dogs, which led to the adoption of their beloved companion, Garth Jamal Herd. While enjoying their similarities they also learned to embrace their differences. Such as his need to plan excessively and her more spontaneous approach to life.
Ultimately, they have truly grown to become best friends.
After a couple years of dating, they became engaged on Saturday, March 25, 2017. He proposed during a visit to her favorite winery, Justin Vineyard, in Paso Robles.
